You can search official food hygiene records without creating an account or giving us your name.
Searches and public records
A postcode or place search is sent to our servers so we can return nearby results. Business records come from the Food Standards Agency open data service. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into the search box.
Analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising storage starts in a denied state. If you permit it through the consent controls, Google Analytics may measure site use and marked partner-link clicks, while Google AdSense and approved partners may deliver and measure advertising.
Commercial links
A marked affiliate partner may record that you arrived from Check Food Hygiene after you click. Payment never changes an official rating, business order or factual record.
External services
Links to the FSA, local authorities, businesses and commercial partners lead to services with their own privacy policies. We do not control how those third parties process information.

You can reject optional storage, manage choices through the consent controls when displayed, and clear cookies in your browser. Read the cookie policy for more detail.
Corrections and changes
